Piecing this block was fun! Get the pattern for this on at The Splendid Sampler. I decided on a more complicated quilting design for the center of this one, and I like the results.
Here’s how I quilted it:
- Using the open toe free motion foot, stitched spinning daisy in the center block.
- Stitched in the ditch around the triangles and rectangles.
- Stitched straight line echoes in the solid turquoise triangles.
- Stitch the border design like the other blocks.
The quilting is difficult to see on the blue background.
