Time to set some goals to get some planned and started projects finished! Going for four projects this time.
Project #1 – T-shirt Quilt
I have been working on this quilt for quite a while. Here’s the story behind this quilt. It’s been almost a year since my son handed over all his rowing T-shirts for this project. The quilting is really a work out for my arms. By the end of a couple of hours quilting this, my forearms are sore for at least a day. It’s heavy to move around – almost queen sized.
If you want to make a T-shirt quilt, I recommend Andrea T. Funk’s How to Make a Too Cool T-Shirt Quilt. It’s what I used as a guide in creating this for my son.
Project #2 – Tidal Dress
I plan on making the Tidal Dress by Love Notions with this Knit Pop floral and tie-dye fabric. I am thinking just above the knee for the length. I made the Laundry Day Tee from Love Notions which is available free with the code provided in the Love Notions Facebook Group. Really nice patterns that are easy to follow and put together using my serger.
Project #3 – Boundless Knit Dress
I am using the reversible knit fabric I found at Joann’s a while back using one of their coupons. (I don’t see it available on the website any longer, but you might be able to find it in the store.) I am going to try to make the dress reversible. I will need to be a bit fussy about putting it all together so it looks finished on both sides. I have made a few items using Patterns for Pirates. Their patterns are easy to follow and they have quite a few tutorials available on the website.
Project #4 – Sybil Illusion Skirt
Until Next Time!
