Paper piecing has to be my favorite and this one was very easy. I like the clean look of the block. You can download the pattern at The Splendid Sampler.
I used ruler quilting on this one using the shapes as the designs. I stitched in the ditch and then echoed the shape using the foot as a guide. It forms 1/4 inch quilting lines. I had to break thread in the center of each shape.
The border design was free motioned with ruler foot just like the other blocks.
