Block 100 Centered

img_1486Ooh the 100th block. Tiny little pieces for the center of this geometric block. The flying geese surrounding the center square are the smallest I have ever done. Again I chose some of my favorite pinks and purples for this block.

Sadly, the Splendid Sampler patterns are no longer available for free, but you can preorder the book that contains all of the patterns. If you haven’t started your blocks yet, it is not too late. It looks like they will be starting a new quilt-a-long again in May after the books ship!

I will be adding some of the bonus blocks and a border since I would like to use this quilt on a queen bed. I will post all of that as well as my process to bind all the blocks together.

Here’s how I quilted it very simply since it was already a very busy block:

  • Stitch in the ditch.
  • Stitch the border design like the other blocks.

Did you do your border? Did you post your process? Trying to decide how to quilt border. I have followed all of your 190 blocks and love my quilt.
